Well-thought-out Blade Shape
It features a full-flat grind and a wide full-bellied plain cutting edge. The purposefully designed low blade tip position and extra blade width for outstanding cutting and slicing performance.
The blade cutting edge drops downward creating a negative blade angle, which allows the blade cutting edge to lower than the user's index finger so the wrist is in alignment. It is comfortable when you use the knife for a long period of time, it requires less pressure to be applied by your wrist.

Couteau de grande qualité.
Arrivé tranchant rasoir à l'ouverture.
Mécanisme d'ouverture top, Thumbhole + Flipper. Le flipper permet une sécurité sur le pouce lors du repliement avec liner-lock.
Ouverture et fermeture addictive avec ce bruit métallique du liner-lock facilement atteignable (je possède déja le Nightsahde mini avec crossbar-lock et ce n'est pas aussi satisfaisant)
Aucun jeu, lame parfaitement centrée.
Le manche en micarta et la mitre en laiton sont de très bonne qualité. Forme de manche hyper agréable à tenir en main.
L'acier Elmax en finition stonewash est magnifique.
L'émouture droite et la forme de la lame avec un gros ventre en fait un vrai slicer.
L'acier Elmax se rapprochant du M390, le tranchant semble tenir longtemps.
Bref allez-y les yeux fermés.
Super couteaux génial
Ever since I’ve taken my full size Nightshade With ElMax blade steel out of the box. I have been extremely happy. The Knife demonstrates wonderful ergonomics and craftsmanship. The movement is buttery smooth and I am looking forward to putting this guy to work. Vosteed is doing a great job and their customer service is the best, they are prompt and help me settle an issue I had with ease and kindness
It’s perfect. Not much else you can say about it. Buy it, hold it, use it, love it.
Mine came with a perfectly tuned action, solid detent strength and it was centered nicely. The liners look like they will hold up to medium use with no issues and the eggplant shaped handle fits great for medium sized hands but works great in large or small handed folk that prefer small and large knives respectively. The blade is perfect for slicing it is relatively thin and pointed downward especially at the tip so it excells at every day tasks like opening letters, boxes, and if you clean the blade and use food safe lubricants the regular Nightshade actually works very well for slicing many types of food especially sausages and things like apples, pears or even cheese. The pocket clip is a good size and location and it is inset into the micarta but my only complaint about the knife in general is that the clip is not reversible for lefties.
