WELL-CONSTRUCTED BLADE

The Raccoon features a 3.25’’ drop point blade with simple geometry. 14C28N blade steel offers excellent in-class corrosion resistance and toughness and is easy to sharpen. A 3 to 1 blade length and width ratio, a nice belly, and a comfortable choil make the Raccoon an excellent choice for everyday carry use.

CROSS-BAR LOCK

The Raccoon sports cross-bar lock that is well-packed solid construction. You can fully enjoy this ambidextrous design. Combined with its dual thumb-studs deployment and a well-tuned detent, the Raccoon can be opened and closed with a silky smooth action.

FANTASTIC HANDLE ERGOS

The 4.36-inch-long handle offers a decent grip and an excellent blade-to-handle ratio. The well-chamfered Micarta makes the handle a joy to hold and the handle shape is great for both normal grip and choke-up grip. It comes with a reversible pocket clip, the height of the clip is increased to accommodate thicker jeans/pants.

READY FOR EDC ADVENTURE

In many cultures, raccoons are viewed as playful tricksters and are known for their resourcefulness, curiosity, and adaptability. You will enjoy having this fun, reliable, and pragmatic Raccoon with you. The Raccoon will be an awesome team member for your EDC adventure and galaxy-guarding tasks.

Broken Omega Springs

Fantastic ergos and a good looking knife, however, one of the Omega Springs broke on day 3 or 4 of ownership. I didn’t even have a chance to put the knife to work.

Great knife at a great price!

This knife was super sharp right out of the box. The crossbar locking is great! The blade folds perfectly into the handle for a slim profile, you hardly know it’s in your pocket. I would definitely recommend this knife to anyone who wants an EDC that won’t break the bank!

nice knife, a little bit disappointed by some details but it's really good price/quality ratio

very nice knife. The micarta on the handle is beautiful.
The overall finish is satisfactory.
very good packaging and gadget
When I took it out of the box, the writing on the blade about the steel type and knife name seems like rusty. A little polish and they look good. The back of the blade had a small defect, which was also removed with polishing paste, but the finish became slightly shiny as a result.
The blade closing mechanism needed a little oil to become fluid.
A bit disappointed by these little flaws compared to what I had read about the brand.
However, thank you very much for allowing me to buy it on your site despite the availability problems.

Couldn't ask for more.

I ordered a Raccoon in brown/satin/thumbstud last Monday and it arrived Saturday as suggested. The company kept me informed of the tracking status of the shipment more accurately than the USPS website! I was very impressed right out of the box. Being familiar with 14C28N I was eager to see how it would perform in a blade shape and geometry. It was well worth trying. It is a slicer of the first level. The cross-bar lock is firm and confidence inspiring. I only had two thoughts concerning options: what would it be like with a thumb hole instead of the studs? What about a model with about a 4" blade? Imagine my surprise when I saw a YouTube video Monday from Blade Show West.
I really hope you keep Micarta scales, thumbstuds and the cross-bar lock as options on both models in the future. That lock is what convinced me to choose the Raccoon over competitors knives when I needed a new knife.
I would be glad to "need" a four-inch blade Raccoon with that lock when it is produced.

Great budget knife

This knife is awesome but I did subtract a star as the micarta was already weathered which was disappointing. That aside, I do enjoy this knife very much
