A 3 to 1 blade length and width ratio, a nice belly, and a comfortable choil make the Raccoon an excellent choice for everyday carry use.

ADJUSTABLE CROSS-BAR LOCK

The Raccoon sports cross-bar lock that is well-packed solid construction. You can fully enjoy this ambidextrous design. Combined with its dual thumb-studs deployment and a well-tuned detent, the Raccoon can be opened and closed with a silky smooth action.

FANTASTIC HANDLE ERGOS

The 4.36-inch-long handle offers a decent grip and an excellent blade-to-handle ratio. The well-chamfered Micarta makes the handle a joy to hold and the handle shape is great for both normal grip and choke-up grip. It comes with a reversible pocket clip, the height of the clip is increased to accommodate thicker jeans/pants.

Works great and feels great

I like the Raccoon because it’s inexpensive, so I don’t feel guilty about using it to cut open Amazon boxes. I love the cross-bar lock because I’m left-handed. The spring is tight, but I’m too lazy to adjust the tension. I developed a callus on my thumb. The micarta scales are great because they absorb sweat. My hand slips on aluminum scales in hot weather. The flush screws for the pocket clip are convenient because they don’t catch on clothing. Pivot ball bearings are so much faster and smoother than washers.

I love the knife the quality of the knife is amazing this is my first knife with Micarta and love it also my first knife with a crossbar lock only thing I'd love to see is give us an option to upgrade the steel of the blade and charge more for it

You get bang for your buck on this one. Carrying case, couple patches, extra parts.

Knife showed up sharper than I was expecting and it feels amazing overall. It's really hard to beat for the price point. Will be buying more for Christmas gifts.
