The Dirty Girl Karambit - R.S.Knifeworks X Vosteed 

We are excited to announce our latest collaboration with R.S. Knifeworks. The Dirty Girl is our very first Karambit, and it represents one of Rob's Most Wanted works. If you're familiar with his previous creations, such as RSKaos, Morel, or Griffin, you'll recognize his distinct design language in this exceptional piece.

Introduction to Karambits

The Karambit, a curved knife with cultural and historical importance for Filipino, Indonesian, and Malaysian martial artists, is a trusted tool in martial arts like pencak silat and Filipino Kali. 

Originally an agricultural implement for tasks like raking roots and planting rice, it has evolved into a versatile weapon for combat and self-defense. Its distinctive finger ring enhances control, while the curved blade excels at hooking, ripping, and slicing.

Designed with Purpose

True to its last-ditch self-defense purpose, the R.S.K Dirty Girl boasts an aggressive, compact, and well-curved Claw that can apply substantial leveraged force, significantly enhancing blade "biting" effectiveness when necessary.

Featuring a full-tang construction with a thickness of 0.157" (3.99mm), rugged non-slip Micarta scales, and a slightly oversized ring (1.124" or 28mm), the R.S.K Dirty Girl provides unmatched comfort, ease, and control.

Blade and Handle

The blade is made of Sandvik 14C28N steel, renowned for its exceptional toughness among mid-tier stainless steels. 

You'll be amazed by the exceptional ergonomics of the handle, especially when using the Reverse Grip. Your index finger slips through the hole at the end of the handle, allowing your thumb to rest on the ramp and your palm to be firmly supported by the handle's top side. Combined with the large, robust, oversized ring jimping, you'll experience unparalleled control over your movements.

Kydex Sheath and  Tips

Mastering the Karambit takes time. The Dirty Girl's tight-fitted Kydex sheath ensures safe practice while the knife is sheathed. For Forward Grip, rest your thumb on the sheath's opening to unsheathe. For Reverse Grip, loosen the pocket clip screws and familiarize yourself with the curvature first. An extra secure belt clip and lanyard holes allow for custom attachment.

In Addition, we also included a shorter and quick draw kydex sheath for all of our smooth operators, this new kydex sheath allow proficient users to perform high skill tactical self defense moves when needed.
