I fish saltwater a lot and having an elmax steel blade is only second to Vanax. Quiet Cary and we knifes are the only ones to make knives in vanax. Elmax is the closest you can get for corrosion proof from salt water but is still no vanax. For the price you get a great knife with incredible corrosion resistance. I with Vonsteed made a vanax knife more affordable than we or quite carry. I think that would own the market at a more affordable price.
Just got this knife a few days ago. I really like it. Light weight, very smooth operation and extremely sharp. And, it has a great "hand feel ". This knife is my new favorite!

Well built, beautiful, sharp, well balanced. I wish I could hold them before purchasing. The handle was thin and light for my every day carry. I'm happy with the knife but looking to see if the same knife may have a fatter carbon fiber handle. Thanks for making such good quality knifes. I'll be back
I’ve unintentionally set myself on a path of finding benchmade bugout killers. Just from shopping knives that fit my preferences, thin, lighter etc. this adds to the list. This knife rotates through my daily carry of a Kershaw mini iridium and Kershaw bel air. Love the carbon fiber and Elmax steel is currently battling magnacut for my favorite steel. I love carrying big knives but it’s not always practical so 80% of the time this ends up in my pocket and it disappears.
