Robust Top Liner Lock and Sizeable Thumbhole

  • The Top Liner Lock provides smooth, one-handed operation and a secure lock-up, keeping your fingers safe from the blade path during use.
  • The nearly hidden lock bar is secured inside the handle with a stainless-steel plate and further reinforced by a solid steel backspacer.
  • The Porcupine offers effortless one-handed opening and closing, thanks to its large thumbhole design.

Pointy Tip and Big Belly Blade

  • The generous blade belly makes slicing tasks—such as cutting meat, fruits, and vegetables—an absolute breeze.
  • The pointy tip delivers precision for tasks like opening packages, cutting ropes, and slicing through cardboard.
  • The 2.99" 14C28N blade offers excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening.

Comfort Grip

  • With a 1.22" wide handle, the Porcupine comfortably accommodates medium to large hands.
  • Choose between G10 or Micarta handle materials to match your style and preference.
  • The forward choil provides versatile grip options, while the dedicated handle choil prevents hand slippage during heavy use.
  • The barrel lanyard tube enhances convenience for carrying, retrieving, and storing your knife while adding structural support to the handle.

Detailed Features

  • Jimping ensures maximum grip and control at all key touchpoints.
  • A stabilizing pin reinforces the handle, preventing deformation over time.
  • All T8 screws simplify maintenance, requiring just a single screwdriver.
  • Internally milled liners reduce weight while maintaining strength for EDC and hard use.
  • The large thumbhole allows smooth opening, even for users with large hands or gloves.
  • The recessed button minimizes accidental openings, enhancing overall safety.

Good knife! 2 thumbs up!

Vosteed has NEVER disappoints, in terms of fit and finish! Many Vosteed knives later, this Porcky is super nice in hand. Designed for use. Vosteed consistently overdelivers at a great price point.

High hopes.

I wish I got the non-coated version. The action could be better. Don't care much for the pocket clip either. I had high hopes after watching reviews but the 🦝 is still my favorite.

So Nice, I Bought It Twice

For my taste the Vosteed Porcupine is an ideal EDC knife, perfect for me in function, feel, and aesthetics, so much so that I purchased two.

If you can get one buy it

Absolutely amazing knife. The fit and finish are fantastic. Feels very good in the hand. Super smooth deployment and responsive top liner lock. Been wanting one for awhile and they came back in stock and I jumped on one. Very happy I did.

Excellent knife

I am a knife collector an a fan of voted knives. The Porcupine is a great knife I love the blade shape and the overall size of the knife, its not small and not too big perfect size for edc. The top liner lock is strong and with the button release it is easy safe and you can fidget with it a lot. Opening and closing the knife is amazingly smooth, I use the finger flick a lot as you get a very satisfying snap of the blade as it locks into place. I like the thumb cut out hole its easy to get a finger in to deploy, I prefer this over thumb studs. Things that I don't like are the wire pocket clip they should have just gone with their standard clip which is a great clip. I would have liked some more deployment options like a back flipper.
I ended up buying 2 of these, a grey G10 and a black micarta version. I prefer the black colour however the micarta is not great. After a few days of use the micarta starts to fade and turn grey and after a week I find myself having to put beeswax on it to restore the colour. Needless to say I am not a fan of micarta scales and I find them to be cheep and lacking. Overall this knife is great, the price point is amazing for what you get. Design wise its very similar ( and slightly smaller) than the higher end Psyop knife (which which has a price tag over 3X higher). The Porcupine is a banger of a knife, it ticks all the boxes for a overachieving budget knife that is pretty hard to beat.
