Inspired by the traditional Shilin Cutter and Kukri, Vosteed Nightshade is a modern interpretation of the time-honored ethnic designs.
Well-thought-out Blade Shape
It features a full-flat grind and a wide full-bellied plain cutting edge. The purposefully designed low blade tip position and extra blade width for outstanding cutting and slicing performance.
The blade cutting edge drops downward creating a negative blade angle, which allows the blade cutting edge to lower than the user's index finger so the wrist is in alignment. It is comfortable when you use the knife for a long period of time, it requires less pressure to be applied by your wrist.

Crafted from Bohler Elmax steel, high-end stainless steel, is known for its excellent edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. This steel is perfect for outdoor activities like camping and hunting.
Snappy Action
Equipped with a sturdy liner lock, and a ceramic ball bearing, it features a fast and easy one-handed deployment. You can easily flip and flick open the knife with a thumbhole and a flipper.

Fun good looking carry and the elmax has a wicked edge. Detent is snug and super snappy with fall shutty smoothness. Probably my fav push-button flipper I have. Other deployments are just as enjoyable
Not the most efficient work carry for me(too many zip ties), but it's found my pocket a bunch regardless.
The overall aestetics has had several people look over and ask what it is.
A win for vosteed and a win for me.
Handle is narrow which I will live with but the tip had micro chipping as if it was banged against something
The new Nightshade is another great Vosteed. Fine pocket carry and smooth action. AAA+
