The Thunderbird (2.98”) is the under 3” variant of our well-received Thunderbird design. Looking through your EDC knife rotation, under 3” blades are the ones that see most of your pocket time. This is our intention and dedication to make the Thunderbird smaller for everyday carry and keep it fidget-friendly of all time.
THE HANDLE
The Thunderbird uses sophisticated cloud carbon fiber. As its name suggests, the patterns differ on each and every knife, creating a feast of unpredictable changes and illusions to our eyes.
Besides its aesthetic patterns, you would be impressed by the features of carbon fiber, lightweight, and durable.
THE DETAILS
The cherry on the cake is that the backspacer utilizes glow-in-the-dark material. You can enjoy its captivating charm in the nighttime.
The knife sports an upgraded one-piece integral recessed button for easy maintenance.
THE BLADE
The 2.98” M390 blade is a mix of traditional Tantō and harpoon, combining the best of both worlds, superior piercing power and reinforced tip structure

I am super satisfied with this little EDC, for me the size is perfect, I can take it everywhere without it being noticed. The quality is there. This is my 3rd Vosteed and I am sure it will not be the last.

The new Vosteed Thunderbird 2.98” M390 blade with the green cloud carbon fiber is a perfect knife. This is my 6th Thunderbird in my collection and these are my favorite knives. The design, quality, fidget factor and sexy appearance is off the charts. Out of my collection of many different brands, I always have one of the 3 sizes in my rotation as an EDC. I currently have two 3.48” S35 Gmascus, two 3.25” M390 Gmascus, one grey 3.25” Elmax Titanium and my new 2.98” M390 green cloud carbon fiber. The 2.98” and the 3.25” are the perfect EDC size and they have the most time in my pocket. My next purchase will be the 2.98” Elmax with blue, white and black cloud carbon fiber. Please come out with more of the 2.98” Elmax in different carbon fiber or titanium scales. I highly recommend the Thunderbird line due to the multiple ways to open the knife, the quality as well as materials used. I do have a serious problem because I can’t keep the knife out of my hands. Vosteed, you are doing an amazing job, keep it up.
I thought the old model of the Thunderbird was awesome, but a tad bit long for my taste. This new version is the perfect length and also has some nice scales. A new favorite has been found.
It's a perfect size for what I need and the materials are super high quality. The fit and finish is premium too. My favorite part is that now that it's a bit broken in, the fidget factor is through the roof. Solid product from a solid company. Definitely going to be my favorite knife for a while.
