The 3.98" Gator is made from Sandvik 14C28N steel with a wide sheepsfoot shape, which is built for heavy duty. As the name indicates, it is a powerful EDC workhorse, and the tall blade is ready for a variety of utility work you throw at it. When holding the knife, since the cutting edge is lower than your index finger, your wrist is in alignment, and you feel more comfortable while using the knife.

ERGONOMICS AWESOMENESS

The handle is made from Micarta and enhanced with the frag pattern and a profound cutout for a secured full-finger grip. The front end of the handle provides a natural position for your thumb to rest, while the rest no doubt fits each and every curve of your hand, ensuring better ergonomics that you will love.

MULTI-DEPLOYMENT CAROUSEL

You can open this massive beast by using a standard flipper, a front flipper, and a thumbhole. You can expect all the fidgety factor packed into this beast. Never a dull moment! The blade runs on ceramic ball bearings, so it deploys effortlessly and locks up solidly.

Amazing knife

This was my first Vosteed knife and it is a big beefy knife and a great budget blade. Vosteed knives typically have multiple deployment methods which I absolutely love and this one fires open no matter which way you choose to open it. The micarta with frag pattern is super grippy so you don’t have to worry about it slipping out of your hand. There’s a reason most Vosteed knives stay sold out, they’re one of the best budget knives you can get but have also started releasing more premium options. I’ll definitely be adding several more of their knives to my collection.
