The Blade
Inspired by the famous supersonic critter, the Vosteed Hedgehog is a super fun knife. Its 2.99” S35VN blade excels in edge retention and corrosion resistance. The modified sheepsfoot blade shape and lightly curved belly are well suited for slicing and cutting.
With a blade width of 1.30”, the Hedgehog packs a solid punch in a mid-size body. When closed, it won’t take up much space in your pocket or pouch. When it’s opened, the hedgehog will be ready to join action with you.
The Handle
Designed with ergonomics in mind, the Hedgehog incorporates a spacious finger groove as well as a generous finger choil on the blade. This combination not only allows different grip and holding positions but also improves precision cutting for dedicated jobs. To increase user control and overall aesthetics, CNC machined frag patterns are presented on the handle.
The Action
Equipped with a ceramic ball bearing and the Top Liner Lock, the Hedgehog offers snappy deployment with multiple options: back flipper, thumb stud, and fuller. The Top Liner Lock is intuitive when it’s paired with the button. To close the knife, simply press the button and your finger will not be in the cutting path.

Nathaneal Rome The hedgehog is so good. I have a lot of your knives but the hedgehog with all the deployment options, good ergonomics, and just good looks makes this my new favorite. In my opinion I like the trend you guys are doing with making a lot of your stuff bigger. Why not do the hedgehog next? I think it would benefit greatly being like 20% bigger.

Justin S. The Hedgehog is a fantastic knife that has a nice chunky blade while retaining a shorter size. The top liner lock is great, and the multiple deployment methods make it very fidget friendly. The magpie GT-mascus lends it a striking look.

Patrick Ray The Hedgehog has fantastic blade geometry. The lock up is really sold, especially for a knife on bearings, and has no blade play. The finger choil and wide gimping on the spin of the blade give excellent blade control and the grooves along the sides of the spin give another option for blade control.
Yes, it's a chunky blade which definitely makes it durable and S35VN still has a place as an excellent overall steel. The modified sheepsfoot is an excellent slicer which enough of a curvature in the blade to allow precision slicing and the profile of the tip prevents making punctures too deep should you do so. If you're looking for a folder that is pocketable and can do some heavy lifting from time to time, the Hedgehog is the what you're looking for.
