THE BLADE
The Nightshade is inspired by the Shilin cutter. Full flat ground leaf shape blade, with a pointy negative angled tip, more than hundreds of knife lovers has proved it to be perfect for slicing, push & draw cut.
THE HANDLE
The handle comes in a bunch of colorways.
We've tweaked the finger groove for comfort in hand. Skeletonized steel liners are tucked inside to improve the strength of the handle without adding too much weight.
THE ACTION
Cage ceramic ball bearings for drop-shut smoothness.
Fine-tuned detent for snappy action.
Non-Slippery milling on the lock release bar. Extra room for the lock release area. Big love for big hands.

I don't know why it took me so long to get this knife. But now that I did I find this to be an excellent one of a kind gem. It's such a super slicer, cause of the thin blade, it's a must have. Now I must get a couple more different versions of this shilin cutter. The ergos is perfect in hand. No hot spots. Very appealing. Wish i had more pockets to carry each of my favorite vosteed knives. This completes my shilin cutter collection. I got the mini first and that's a great knife, got the anchor lock and that is a winner as well, and now this one. I hope vosteed makes this one and the mini in a front flipper. I now have 22 vosteed knives in my collection and they are the only brand I favor the most of all my knives. They are well made, feel very reliable and strong built, and have such appealing aesthetics. And they all have something different from each other unlike other brands that keep making similar knives over and over with small differences. Vosteed is built different. And thats why they are my first pick in what i carry and use. They stole the spotlight in the knife industry in my opinion. And I can't go without them. Of all the pros and cons, I'd have to say some become sold out fast and that is the only

Sharp right out of the box and the micarta handles are a perfect amount of grip. Works great for work around the office.
Never heard of the Vosteed brand but liked the look of the Shilin cutter: Leaf shaped blade, Nitro-V, Micarta...all the things. I have been carrying the knife since it came in and have been very pleased with the action, feel and performance of the blade. I will probably order the variant with the flipper tab and will most definitely order one if they increase the overall Knife size by an inch or two...Shilin Cutter XL.
