We're excited to introduce a more budget-friendly version of our popular Psyop! This new model incorporates all the great feedback we gathered from our Psyop survey and the knife community. A big thank you to everyone who helped refine the Psyop — your input made all the difference!
When a color explosion hits the Psyop — boom! 🎨 A stunning lineup of vibrant colors is here. Together with Geoff Blauvelt (Tuff Knives), we carefully picked these US-made Norplex UltreX™ Micarta just for you. They all offer an ultra-comfortable grip.
Choose your vibe: Black, Blue, Green, Natural, Teal, or Red — each one bold and full of character.
To top it off, the aluminum pivot collar and backspacer add a sleek touch of contrast, making the design pop even more.
The new Micarta Psyop comes with a reversible deep carry clip, making it easy to carry for both left-handed and right-handed users.
Workhorse for the Tasks
The Psyop features 3.32" Elmax blade that has excellent wear resistance, good corrosion resistance, and high dimensional stability. The 0.137” (3.5mm) thick (finished) Elmax blade has both a generously ground belly for effortless slicing and a pointed tip for accurate piercing. Whether you're slicing through packages, performing detailed tasks, or tackling outdoor activities, the Psyop is up to the challenge.
Intuitive and Fun Action
The Psyop features a button-operated Top-liner lock, which combines intuitive operation, high sturdiness, as well as fun fidget experiences.
The oblong-shaped button is easy to access and fits the overall knife style seamlessly. Equipped with a ceramic ball-bearing system, the Psyop can be smoothly deployed with both a front flipper and thumbhole.
Especially, the height and angle of the front flipper are precisely engineered for ultimate thumb swipe open action. Once the knife is deployed, the front flipper will merge with the continuation line of the handle to form an eye-pleasing sleek profile.

At first glance, the Vosteed Psyop does not feel like a truly premium knife. The Norplex UltreX™ Micarta handle is intentionally given a slightly aged, worn-in look, which gives it character and a warm, almost vintage personality. But it’s the blade that really elevates the knife.
Elmax is one of my favorite steels — excellent edge retention, great corrosion resistance, and a very stable, reliable performer overall. On this model, it looks especially refined and gives the knife a distinctly high-end appearance.
Overall, the Psyop comes across as a well-thought-out, high-quality tool that feels great in the hand and is absolutely worthy of any collection.
Love this edc I have 3 of them and they are amazing!
Wonderful knife, thoughtfully designed! - (If I had to give one nitpick and it is not the fault of the knife, is that it's slightly larger than my hand to be long-term figit friendly...) Hehe
You guys create some awesome products and I really appreciate that you're making more more designs that are for folks such as myself, "left-handed!"
I like the shape of the blade and the style of the knife, also edge retention seems better than average so far. The scale material is fuzzy with fibers sticking out and it will absorb grease and discolor. The only real issue I have had with this knife is the choil is set back too far into the blade and there is no kick to prevent it from bunching up materials you are trying to cut. Cutting plastic bags you have to control the blade penetration or the choil will cause the cutting to come to a complete stop, or you could put your index finger just up against the edge of the (very sharp) blade and prevent this bunching effect. The knife is very nice overall and I have been carrying it as well as using it daily.
Thank you to the customer service representative that secured this for me. My husband was floored and happily surprised! Thank you.
