I really wanted to love the Talarus, it has a great blade shape, out of box sharpness, grind, and profile. I have 3 issues though, 1. The handle tapers down too much at the bottom for my hands, smaller hands will be fine but the tappered end made it easy for me to knick my palm with the tip of the blade. 2. The G10 scales felt very smooth and thin, and so did the micarta. Scales did have a slight flex to them. for this price I would hope for higher quality 3. The pocket clip is unbearable for me, its a big hot spot and just protudes out way too far. A Kizer Ti clip would be an easy solution to this.
Overall its a great edc knife for people with med to small hands, if you have larger hands it may not be that comfortable. I really wish Vosteed didn't taper the bottom and used a little better quality G10 or micarta. The fit and lockup was great and I am sure it would be a great performer for someone whos hand fits it.
