THE TREK LOCK
The Trek Lock (patent pending) is an innovation that perfectly combines multi-deployment options (i.e. thumb-hole, thumb-stud, front flipper, normal flipper) with a reliable & intuitive locking mechanism. No more thumbs in the closing path, always more ways to play with.
The mechanism can reduce unintended unlock accidents.

THE BLADE
The Thunderbird is equipped with a 3.25” Elmax blade with a compound grind. Elmax is a high-end stainless steel and is known for its excellent balance of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, toughness, and edge retention.
Traditional Tantō has superior piercing performance, and the tip is further reinforced by a harpoon structure.
Shallow compound hollow grind for slicing performance and edge stability.
Straight fuller offers a sleek yet sophisticated appearance.
THE HANDLE
Two versions of Thunderbird for you to choose from, the gray titanium and the black titanium. Their clean and modern look complements your everyday style.
Gray - Crafted with precision from high-quality titanium, the handle boasts an elegant gray finish. The blade on the gray version has a two-tone finish, brushed plus bead blasted finish takes the blade to the next level!

Guys, I’m old school. Born in the late 70’s and raised in the 80’s. I thought, back then that the knives they had displayed in those plastic cases at gas stations were tip top lol. I’ve always loved knives since I was allowed to have one. But life happens and we all fall out of doing what we love and with that being said fast forward to the present tense I recently got into collecting knives like I have always wanted to do but never did. One day a few months ago I wanted to get into collecting and I couldn’t stop myself it was like a magnet pulling me in lol so I did. I came across VOSTEED KNIVES while searching for a great knife. You could say I was feeling saucy. Browsing through their products I saw and learned that knives have changed quite a bit since the late 80’s early 90’s lol. I placed my order. Received my knife in a short time. Opened it up and IMMEDIATELY fell in love with the first knife I purchased from them! It was the RS KAOS! Bad Ass knife, hands down people! You will not, and I absolutely do mean will not be disappointed in any way!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I continued to buy and was please with each and every purchase. I’ve bought 5 in total and 1 on preorder for the Talularus (I think that’s how you spell it). Some of their knives are $200+ but you are getting great quality and really that’s not to terribly bad considering what you will be holding in your hands! They do offer some that are below $100 and are just as bad ass as their more expensive cousins. My last purchase was the THUNDERBIRD with the ELMAX BLADE. Enough said! Every knife is razor sharp out of the box. It comes in a nice packaging set up that you will be pleased with. Also each time I wanted to send an email to ask a question about something. I cannot say issues because I have yet to have one with this company! Their replies were always helpful and their customer service support is beyond magnificent! You become part of the VOSTEEDIAN MOVEMENT when you buy from them. Guys I am a nobody just trying to give credit where it’s due and these guys deserve every drop of it!!
Be watching out for the New Arrival of the ANKYLO
FOLDING KNIFE they will be launching some time next month but I’m not quite sure so don’t quote me on that one please. It’s an all new style of a locking/release mechanism you will have to see for yourself! I won’t spoil it! I just hope when it comes time to get one I will be able to grab one or possibly two different colored ones. Anyways I hope this helps one of you when it comes time for you to purchase one of these sweet pieces of steel! Sorry for the lengthy review but I had too much to say about it! The thunderbird is my first Vosteed and so far I love it
Feels great in my hand and looks great. So far so good
I have expensive Striders that I love as well as my automatic button Benchmade, and a couple of Spyderco knives. This Thunderbird is the perfect size and opens and closes so flawlessly. I cannot recommend this enough and have already spread the word to all my Marine buddies as well as guys from my firehouse. The price tag is very reasonable and I forgot to mention how well the blade sharpness is. Just all around great knife.
