    THE BLADE

    The Thunderbird is equipped with a 3.25” Elmax blade with a compound grind. Elmax is a high-end stainless steel and is known for its excellent balance of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, toughness, and edge retention.
    Traditional Tantō has superior piercing performance, and the tip is further reinforced by a harpoon structure.
    Shallow compound hollow grind for slicing performance and edge stability.
    Straight fuller offers a sleek yet sophisticated appearance.

    THE HANDLE

    Two versions of Thunderbird for you to choose from, the gray titanium and the black titanium. Their clean and modern look complements your everyday style. 
    Gray - Crafted with precision from high-quality titanium, the handle boasts an elegant gray finish. The blade on the gray version has a two-tone finish, brushed plus bead blasted finish takes the blade to the next level! 

    Black - For those who appreciate both form and function, the Black Titanium with Frag Pattern delivers in spades. The handle features a striking black titanium finish with a distinctive frag pattern, adding a touch of edginess to your EDC collection.

    Titanium and Elmax. Wow!

    First the Trek Lock; by design it is almost twice as strong as a generic button lock. The design also allows both front and rear flipper tabs, which are unobtrusive and very effective. The action is fantastic.
    Now secondly there is that gorgeous titanium handle. Perfect machining and finishing. Matching backspacer is beautiful. Everything about this knife is the highest quality. I even love the box it came in.

    Almost perfect

    You can tell a lot of thought went into the design. The grip is locked in and the thumb ramp fits exactly in line with my thumb. The titanium doesn’t have any sharp edges but the grooves provide a good grip. I love the finish on the blade and the satin flat areas are a nice contrast. I love the options to deploy this knife but the only thing keeping this knife from being perfect is the detent is a little too relaxed. You just don’t get that good thwack without a tuned detent. Other than that this knife hits all my check boxes. Bonus points for a recessed deep carry pocket clip with recessed screws. Stronger detent and T8 pocket clip screws and I’d buy it again.

    The Vosteed Thunderbird in the grey titanium with the Elmax blade is amazing. The quality is top notch. This is my 5th Thunderbird and the titanium with the Elmax blade is my favorite. I love the feel, weight, blade quality and the fidget factor. I love all of the thunderbird knives and I’m considering on purchasing the new green carbon fiber, I give them all a 5 Star. I recently ordered and purchased extra hardware from Vosteed and the service I received from May way excellent. Thank you so much.

    Horrible detent but other than that PHENOMENAL knife for the money

    I absolutely love the knife only thing I don't like is its detent its just way too soft if not for that it'd be a 5 star knife!!
