  • FUNCTIONAL AND EFFECTIVE BLADE

    • The Valkyrie has two types of blade shapes, namely modified Seax and Sheepsfoot.
    • Our modified Seax blade has a slightly curved edge, which is intended for fine work, and utility cuts with your maximum leverage. The pointy tip is great for detailed work and makes it more easily penetrate anything with minimum effort than other blade shapes.
    • The Sheepsfoot blade would be less threatening with its rounded tip while it is perfect for slicing and cutting. The nearly straight-line cutting edge ensures you clean cuts and clear cuts.

    INTUITIVE DEPLOYMENT

    • The Trek Lock (designed by Yue)perfectly combines multi-deployment options for ultimate playability.
    • With the assistance of a ceramic ball-bearing pivot system and Trek Lock, you are able to enjoy the endearing charm of Thumbstud, standard flipper, and front flipper deployment.

    SLIM AND SLEEK HANDLE

    • The Valkyrie comes in black, green, and gray G10 scales.
    • The handle shape is uncomplicated and built to last. With a well-thought-out finger groove, it ensures you a great degree of control over precise cuts.
    • With a 4.36" closed length, it simply disappears in your pocket. A winning choice for minimalist carry.

    Wonderful EDC knife

Purchased the Vosteed Valkyrie a month ago and have carried it every day since. It's a great little knife for everyday carry.

The good: the ceramic bearing is still providing a smooth opening. Handling this knife is comfortable and it sits in the hand without any slip or obnoxious profile. The blade profile is unique but hasn't detracted from the utility of the knife. Edge retention has been a very pleasant surprise. This knife is still sharp after a month of daily use. There is no wobble on the blade hinge and closing the knife is a mere push button operation that is easily done with a single hand.

The bad: frankly not much. The clip is smooth, and could be stiffer. I've had the knife slide out of my pocket if I pull out keys or my wallet. This is a minor gripe as the manufacturer can't make the internal geometry more aggressive or else they risk damaging your wranglers.

If you are looking for a great performing EDC knife at a reasonable price this model is perfect.

She loves the pouch it came in, the black micarta, and ease of flipping. Uses it for breaking down boxes and opening packages. She prefers the back flipper but also likes the button lock. Thumbstud and front flip is OK but she has delicate thumbs and the front flip is very tricky even for me, I have to hold it in a specific way and flick my wrist. I do have small hands too though, so I don't know. It still has an endless fidget factor. She says she likes the blade shape and that "it looks like it's ready for slicing and dicing." Overall, good stuff for the price.
