The knife is the flagship collaboration between Vosteed and R.S. Knifeworks (Rob Saniscalchi). The knife features an M390 blade and titanium handles, and it also comes with a re-innovated locking mechanism - Top Liner Lock. The knife combines the best of both worlds- tons of fidget factors and a high level of lock strength.
Top Liner Lock
Different from Rob’s frame lock custom version, the knife utilized its own Top Liner Lock, which is similar to a hybrid of insert-liner lock and Compression lock.
The Top Liner Lock is intentionally designed to be strong and secure.
When the knife is in the closed position, the lock bar is almost completely hidden from view. The standalone stainless-steel plate is firmly secured in a milled pocket inside of the TC4 titanium handle, and it is further reinforced by a solid TC4 titanium backspacer.
When the knife is in open position, the lock bar will keep the blade in place and prevent the blade from any further rotational motion.
Multiple Deployment
Similar to other Vosteed knives, the knife is also equipped with multiple deployment options. The chamfered thumbhole and the low-profile flipper tab work well together, and the combo offers both great convenience and fun fidgetablity. The finger choil (also provide clearance for the Top Liner lock) and the jimpings further increase functionality and safety when more control over the knife is needed.
Premium M390 Blade
This Vosteed knife is based on Rob’s highly sought-after custom knife. The blade is made from Böhler M390. Both the Wharncliffe (3.46”) and Sheepsfoot (3.30”) version feature Rob’s bold signature compound grind.
Two Fantastic Finishes
a. The dark version has stonewashed PVD black titanium coating both on the blade and on the handle, and it will be paired with a golden aluminum pivot collar and matching hardware (screws and pocket clips).
b. The bright version has a satin-finished blade; its handle, button, and pocket clip are stonewashed and then sandblasted; this version has a copper-colored aluminum pivot collar.
Delve into the Details
To enhance the ease of operation and user experience, the knife features a CNC-milled TC4 titanium button. The height and travel distance of the unlock button are designed to reduce accidental unlock.
Furthermore, the 3D milled titanium pocket clip offers both secured carry and sleek aesthetics.

This knife is great and checks all the boxes
The RAKAOS is both practical and stylish. It was very sharp out of the box and slices well. The minimal flipper tab works perfectly due to the jimping and doesn't get in the way when the knife is open - all flippers should be designed this way.
This take on the compression lock is incredible and the fit and finish on the knife is top tier. This is a special one y'all.
This is an awesome knife, I so wish it had a reverse carry pocket clip for left-handed users. - (I would order this piece immediately if it did).
Vosteed - Any chance in the future we could see a left-handed pocket clip for this product?

If you didn't know Vosteed, you'd think this was something they did all the time. You certainly can't tell this is their first full titanium knife. Fit and finish are 100%. Action is amazing right out of the box as always with Vosteed.
